When My friend Lori got burned out by the August 30th, 2011 wildfires, she was forced to live on her land, camp fashion, for over 6 months, while trying to rebuild. Her meager campsite was all she had, and the tarps that sheltered it were nothing special, but they held throughout Oklahoma’s weather extremes that fall and winter (thanks to lil weggie).

Rebuilding the campsite had been a weekly chore, as the wind, and rain tore thru grommets and lesser clamps with ease, until she discovered the lil weggie. Not only did it enable her to save the grommet-less tarps and still use them, but she didn’t have to rebuild any longer. Between the bungee cords, and tarp clamps, she solved her problem.

The lil weggies never failed and never faltered. The reason was simple. The revolutionary way they are designed, used the strength of the tarp material over a wide area (quite strong) as the anchor, and the bungees took all the shock. The clamps never slipped, even when there was a bathtub of water built up on the tarp (eventually the bungee cord end bent on the tree anchor). I have several pics of the clamps in use during rain and wind storms, and they are amazing. There are numerous “slide bind” toothed grip type tarp clamps that couldn’t handle the lightest wind, much less rain (Lori now has a box of them that failed).

I think the lil Weggie has an understated name for such an advanced product. This truly is the better mousetrap that eliminates the need for anything that came before. I wanted to also mention that the august wildfires were devastating to many, including Lori, and lil weggie refused to accept money for the lil weggies we needed for her camp. It was an extremely generous action from a great local manufacturer of a perfect solution product. Thank you again, and thank you for the better mousetrap for humanity.

I just want to let you know how much I love your product. I purchased the lil Weggie clamps at The Tool Store in Oklahoma City. I got them hoping they would work as clamps on my ABM Longarm to hold the backing fabric taunt. Not only do they work, they work great. I think your clamps should be included as standard equipment with all longarm machine purchases. You have a great product! Hope you are successful and have more great products in the future.

While covering a wind generator for transport in Quebec my tarp tore at the top of the load. I put a Lil Weggie on the tear and it held my tarp in place all the way to Pensacola, Florida. I would recommend these clamps to anyone.

Tarp Clamp

I had a collision with a pine tree in my Polaris Ranger while guiding bear hunters. The weather was freezing rain and snow at the time. A large limb from the tree tore right through my roof. While I was getting us out of the snag my hunter pulled a Lil Weggie out of his pack and I was amazed out how quickly and effectively this device prevented further damage to my top and kept the weather from coming through the roof. I would recommend these clamps to all outdoors people.

We purchased two of your clamps and they work great according to our staff. We have no complaints and would recommend them to anyone else in our field

We had a job where we had to line an underground vault with 40 mil thick material last fall. After seeing your product at the IFAI Expo I knew it would be perfect for hoisting up the wall sections. The clamps worked out better than we had hoped and saved us a lot of time.

We use the clamps on an overhead trolley to carry fabric on to the frame of our shelters that we manufacture. So far they work very well and none have broke.
